Vaishnavi Rathore

Vaishnavi Rathore is a climate and land reporter with Scroll.in. She covers long-form, investigative stories on climate justice, environmental degradation, climate change, and issues involving land, rivers, and forests in rural and urban India.
Rathore won the Prem Bhatia Memorial Trust's Award for development journalism in 2021, the Laadli Media and Advertising Award for Gender Sensitivity in 2022, and a Press Institute of India-International Committee of the Red Cross Award in 2023.
She has also received national and international reporting fellowships to support her work on women and land rights in Gujarat, COP26, and solution stories from India.
Rathore is a trained public policy practitioner with a master's degree in public policy and governance from Azim Premji University in Bengaluru, India.
