Córdoba (Taller H), Rosario (El Levante) and San Miguel de Tucumán (La Baulera).

TRAMA NETWORK stems directely from TRAMA, a program for cooperation and confrontation
among artists that operated in Argentina from year 2000 until 2005.

EL LEVANTE
/ Rosario
El Levante is an initiative created by artists from the city of Rosario (Argentina). It is coordinated by Graciela Carnevale, Mauro Machado, Luján Castellani y Lorena Cardona. Their project pursues to make possible a critical approach to creative processes as well as to those concerning the materialization of the work of art in regard to institutions. The initiative also intends to promote debate on subjetcs related to its particular historical and geographical context. In this way they expect to produce estrategies and concepts from Rosario, and generate interchanges as well as spaces for reflection and production.
El Levante’s activities are carried out within the frame of three programs: the Workshop, where works of art are analysed and discussed with artists and theoreticians. It is a space for reflection on subjetcs such as production and relations, and the interests, desires and worries each participant experiences when interacting with peers and with his/her context; the Space for exhibitions and debates, meant to explore experimental, horizontal and provisional methods for the production and exhibition of art works, projects and ideas; and finally the Program of Residences and Exchanges for Argentinian and Foreign Artists whose aim is to generate and facilitate exchanges between artists from Rosario and those from other centers. The group believes that hosting artists from other places will place them in closer relation with different experiences and realities and will thus provide mutual enrichment.

AGENCIA DE PROYECTOS
/ Buenos Aires
The Project Agency is a collective aimed at the development of interactive spaces for contemporary projects.
The Agency sets out as a space for projects to be developed. A collective whose abilities orient themselves to the use of “virtual space” as a place for knowledge to circulate and be exchanged. It intends to work together with other collectives, providing its specific resources for the proposal, reception and development of multidisciplinary contemporary projects. Its objective is to develop virtual tools and platforms for dialogue, which should be able to encourage interchange and strengthen network channels, bonds, and the generation of new collectives.
The Agency doesn’t mean to merely provide a service but also to develop virtual tools adequate to interlink art activities, network management led by artists, conceptual analysis and research through new technologies, as well as ways of communication and creation that might be generated within such contexts.
Areas of work:
- visibility and exchange spaces in the Internet
- collective publishing platforms in the Internet
-database on independent production in the Internet
- development and circulation of software
- advisory services and training.
Members
of Project Agency: Irene Banchero, Florencia Cacciabúe, Julia Masvernat and Dina Roisman.

LA BAULERA / San MIguel de Tucumán
La Baulera is a group of artists devoted to art production and research. It has focused its activities on two major concerns: the search of alternatives on the face of dominant practices in the field of arts and the need to generate new ways of creating bonds among art, artists, and some social milieus. Thus, all the production of La Baulera works towards the same end, dealing with both concerns as an undivided whole. The group can no longer slip through the chink between the outer and inner areas of hegemony without venturing into social realms where art does not clearly, univocally, manifest itself. By the same token, it is impossible for art, such as the group conceives of it, to enter the social arena without disturbing boundaries behind which identities begin to shake, leaving us with bits and pieces of identifications. We agree to a territory on the margins, as long as transversal institutional relations and circulation strategies prevent the invisibility that we so much fear. Actually, La Baulera rather than confront with legitimization spaces, seeks to move across them.
On the last term we are dealing with a bet on the possibility of bringing that which is unlikely to shine in the heart of that which is ever the same, a bet on the possibility that whatever is here and now obstinately invisible, would let its invisibility be seen. And the possibility that reality, such as it is, would reveal ist secret complicities with that which is extraordinary. La Baulera believes that every work of art is the assembled formulation of a community that, being protected by the lowest little things, could finally come to be”. Aldo Ternavasio

TALERH - ARTE & COMUNICACION / Córdoba
Taller h – art & communication is a self-managed project coordinated by Lila Pagola and Carina Cagnolo. It deals with circulation of thought within the field of contemporary art.
Taller h’s main purpose is the dissemination and communication of theoretical materials that criticize and analize the state contemporary art is in, specially in Córdoba city, from where they expect to establish a dialogue with others contexts.
This “circulation of information” intends to build a more solid scenario for reflection and communication, one where local productions may find critical and theoretical containment, thus contributing to the consolidation of good practices when it comes to dialogue and confrontation of ideas.
The main tool Taller h offers for the dissemination of materials is a mediatheque which includes a digital library, an image archive, a videotheque, a cdtheque and some other sites whose interests Taller h shares.
Furthermore, Taller h is setting in motion its publishing online project through a series of publications which share a common concept.

VOX / Bahía Blanca
VOX is a project involving encounters, production and analysis of aesthetics that have to do with literature and contemporary art. Furthermore it is an artists’ led organization not dependent on official institutions.
Since 1995 VOX publishes the objetc-magazine VOX, as well as books of argentinian and latin american modern poetry, and a collection of translated literature. It also publishes a digital magazine available for free in the Internet, and an agenda of cultural activities called InfoVOX.
In the realm of contemporary art VOX has developed a curatorship concept for exhibitions shown in various national centers. The management activities carried out by VOX have promoted the shaping up of the art field, as well as the organization of events focused on the circulation and dissemination of local artists’s productions.
In addition, VOX has organized project Ruta 33 for the formation of writers. This project has been running for eleven years now, and has already been attended by more than sixty young writers and poets from Bahía Blanca and south of Buenos Aires Province.
All these programs are being coordinated by a team of VOX collaborators including Ana Porchilote, Gustavo López, Carlos Mux, Omar Sanzone and Mariela Pérez Palma.
