TRAMA’s Participation in VIDEOBRASIL.

On November 29, within the framework of Videobrasil 15th Festival, dedicated to performance, a debate was held about “Media centers as spaces for the production, exhibition, and preservacion of artistic works and proposals"

The panel was composed of Jorge La Ferla (Argentina) who talked about the history of audiovisual media centers within the international milieu, their capacity and means of production, and their differences with proposals from Latin American centers; Karla Jasso, from Mexico, an art historian specialized in the research of art Centers in her country – she objected to the notion implied in “center”; and Ligia Nobre, from EXO group, Brazil, who presented her project.

On TRAMA’s behalf, Marina De Caro presented our project, emphasizing the idea of the network, pointing out that TRAMA is not a center, and narrating the TRAMA experience, its work in collaboration in Argentina, and referring to the tools available to reach the proposed end as presented in the website.
