In her last work she develops the idea of national identity associated
with the historical facts of the dictatorship and repression the country
suffered during the '70s, by means of the construction of metaphors starting
with everyday elements used by the Armed Forces in Argentina.
She worked in a space Matilde Marín lent her in her workshop. She
exhibited, for the group's consideration, a collection of works that included
Historias clínicas, a series of dra-wings, photographs and objects
made from Armed Forces dishes, as well as the installation Línea
de espinas.
"These works, as signs, are transformed into the body and territory
of explicit social degradation. I refer to that Argentine violence which
involves us every day, allowing, until the pre-sent, the sinister coexistence
of the victims with their torturers and murderers. A parody on violence
and fear, on the climate of destiny of which we are all survivors".
