Hernán Ercolini de Ross Rola
(“almost schizophrenic”))

What is, in your opinion, a professional artist?
It is a way of life; like a broker or a shaman; to know the twists and turns of the way.

What's the relation between art and money in your work?
It is difficult but it opens up many doorways to show what I do. At a professional level they value the quality and the imaginary of the resources used.

How do you resolve the conditions of visibility of your work in the context you work in?
Unfortunately, the web support, qualitatively speaking, is for everybody and nobody at the same time. Anyway, not all my works are on this support, though, the best known not the latest.

How would you define cultural tourism?
It is the fantasy of the people who got tired of the resorts.

How would you define culture shock?
It is intimately linked to the artist and art essence.
It is rock and roll, deep inside, in the good sense of the word. A slap on the face to the habit of “the same thing”.

How important is it for you to be able to talk about your work?
Great importance. The works done are usually based on theoretical and endured experiences.
Transmit the motivation that triggered them and be able to project the inner workings of the work, its conceptions and the theoretical links that insufflate and nourish them.
To sum it up, the possibility of developing them even more enriches them and listening to other people’s opinion sanctifies them.
