What is, in your
opinion, a professional artist?
It is someone who uses their
resources to produce art as a way of living. The professional
sense detached form the financial reward takes us to a kind of
semi-professionalism. The skill or the mastery to do your work
makes you a professional.
The definition is broad. Fake masteries can be found in the artistic
circle, as well as, professionalism with little artistic sense.
It also depends upon the artists economic situation and
his/her skill to trade their own production.
What's the relation between art and money in your work?
The relation is limited to
different sizes and techniques and to higher or lower production
cost. Money is secondary or contingent to artistic creativity.
How do you resolve the conditions of visibility of your work in
the context you work in?
I do not understand the question, does it refer to where and
how I show my work?
I show my work in group exhibitions of various kinds, in sculpture
shows, mail art, visual poetry, contests and so on. I hold one
solo show a year.
How would you define cultural tourism?
Through promotions adjusted to a context.
How would you define culture shock?
The one done in the first world is a good example.
What's the relationship between control and chance in your work?
Control is the project itself and chance is the uncertainty
during the development and execution of the artwork.
