Horacio Abram Luján

Participant - Meeting for Confrontation of art-works

It isn't a well, it isn't a tunnel, it doesn't go up, it isn't a tank, it isn't a tower, nor a column, as it is above, it is below, it isn't a Kabakov, it doesn't hold anything up, it doesn't go all the way to the ceiling, it goes up, doesn't have doors nor windows, it isn't Bony, it is outside as it is inside, it isn't a kaleidoscope, it isn't a wall.
Itinerant object. Bricks, cement and wooden staircase. Buenos Aires, 2000.

Project presented on San Juan Avenue, at the MAMba's corner, it was originally planned to be shown on the museum's terrace.

"How to achieve a living organism? Or how not to stop an object? How to maintain inte-rest in an object along time, and, once seen, to have it continue acting?"

Horacio Abram Luján, tale about his work during the meetings.

Artist and architect, lives and works in Buenos Aires. Assemble, disassemble, move, mark territories, self-assertion, living, these are the questions that lead Abram Luján to continue thinking how to realize objects/ images which allow (sustain and question) new social relationships, or that at least question the "naturalness" of existing ones.
